Hawkeyes Celebrate Veteran’s Day with New Look Uniforms

Last year in honor of Veteran’s day the Hawkeyes wore a red, white and blue tiger hawk decal on their helmets. This year, Iowa will honor our military by wearing their version of a Nike Pro Combat Uniform. The uniforms are styled similar to Nike’s Pro Combat Uniforms, but are not Pro Combat, as that would be too extreme of a change [ . . read more . . ]

Auburn faces uphill battle in Texas A&M

After yet another tough SEC loss over the weekend, Auburn will host the high-scoring Texas A&M Aggies in just the second night game at Jordan-Hare Stadium this season. He was the 10th [ . . read more . . ]

I didn’t and I will officially be joining the Irish band wagon if they get the win this week over a 4-1 Stanford club. The Irish appear to have settled on Quarterback Everett Golson to direct the [ . . read more . . ]

Iowa Celebrates 100 Years of Hawkeye Homecomings

This week marks 100 years of Homecoming at the University of Iowa.  Back on November 23rd, 1912 the inaugural homecoming game was played against the University of Wisconsin.  Iowa lost that first game, but is 54-39-5 since then in homecoming contests.  Now 100 years later, Iowa gets to face their bitter-rival to the north, the [ . . read more . . ]
