Tournament Basics – TD AMERITRADE ballpark in Omaha is home to the College World Series. This sparkling facility opened is located in downtown Omaha and opened in 2011, replacing Rosenblatt stadium. The state-of-the-art ballpark seats 24,000 fans and has incredible sight lines throughout! The dimensions of the field are 335 feet down each line, 375 feet into each power alley, and 408 feet to dead centerfield. The spacious ballpark puts a premium on pitching and defense!

This year the tournament gets underway on June 14, with eight teams vying for the right to be called National Champions. The first four days of the series features two games each day, and if you stay the first four days, you’ll see each team twice. Game times for each day are 2 and 7 p.m., Central Standard Time.  The tournament format  is double elimination,. so once a team loses a second game, they are sent home.
