Our pick of the week: Virginia Tech vs. UCLA in the Sun Bowl
How they’ll get there: The Sun Bowl has the third pick in the ACC after the BCS, and as this is written, we believe two ACC teams will receive BCS bids, Florida State and Clemson. We believe that Miami and Duke, with the two best records will capture the Chick-fil-A and Russell Athletic Bowl bids. Having an amazing history featuring teams led by legendary coaches, the Sun Bowl invites Virginia Tech, led by head coach Frank Beamer. The Bruins have been in the Sun Bowl before recently, having beaten Northwestern and lost a close one to Wisconsin. With a program and a coach that seem to be on the rise, the Bruins are the Pac-12 representatives in El Paso.
