Bigger games this Saturday

There are several great games this Saturday.  No matter which conference you follow, there are must-see games.

Early

Michigan at Michigan State  – Outstanding rivalry.  Check out our blog post on this game.

Baylor at Texas A&M – For bragging rights, and position in the Big XII race.  RG3 could elevate his Heismann campaign.

South Carolina at Mississippi State – A must-win game for both teams.

Afternoon

Oklahoma State at Texas – Can anyone slow the Oklahoma State offense?

Ohio State at Illinois – Ohio State has three losses, Illinois has none and is looking for the first win against the Buckeyes in Champaign in 20 years.

Georgia Tech at Virginia – Virginia is clearly on the upswing and will have a coming out game this year.  Yellow Jackets hope it is not this week.

Evening

Kansas State at Texas Tech – Kansas State hasn’t won in Lubbock in more than a decade.  A win here moves the Wildcats to 6-0.

Florida at Auburn – A must-win game for both teams.  Auburn is playing better than expected and could have a great season (compared to expectations.)  Florida has lost badly twice, but those games were to two of the top three teams in the country.

Northwestern at Iowa – For as consistent as Iowa has been, Northwestern has consistently been the Hawkeye’s nemesis.

Late

Arizona State at Oregon – This seems to be a popular choice for the two teams that will play in the Pac-12 Championship Game in December.  See Oregon’s high-powered offense, challenged by the Arizona State defense.
