This Saturday features several exceptional match-ups.
Clemson at Virginia Tech – Many people thought Virginia Tech would be undefeated for this game, but not too many thought the same of Clemson. The winner of this game will be favored in every game the rest of the season.
Alabama at Florida – Several times, this winner of this game has been the National Champion. Both are undefeated, this is a huge game.
Nebraska at Wisconsin – One of the most storied football programs, moves to the Big Ten. It doesn’t get any better than a night game featuring two top 10 teams in an amazing environment.
Auburn at South Carolina – Last year, during the regular season, South Carolina outplayed Auburn but couldn’t close the door and blew a fourth quarter lead. South Carolina is better this year, Auburn is not.
Michigan State at Ohio State – Michigan State and Ohio State tied (with Wisconsin) for the Big Ten title last season, but the two teams didn’t play one another. This is the last game before some of biggest playmakers on the Buckeyes return from suspensions. Both teams have non-conference loss, but have yet to begin conference play.
Kansas State at Baylor – RG3. That’s all you need to know. Robert Griffin III has been absolutely unbelievable so far this season. For example, he’s thrown more touchdowns that incompletions, and he’s done it against good competition. If Baylor wins, the sky is the limit for the Bears.
I’ll also be watching Northwestern at Illinois, Notre Dame at Purdue, Mississippi State at Georgia, Nevada at Boise State and Washington at Utah.
